 Astro-Kinetic Reflection 

Temporally Conditioned Reverberative Thoughts 

Resulting from Astro-Kinetic Contemplation 





Today in the heavens all linear aspects fall silent displaying three simple conjunctions, Mercury & Saturn in Aquarius, The Sun & Jupiter in Pisces, and Venus & Mars in Capricorn. The coming together of these bodies shines celestial light on a powerful theme that develops from both the Liturgy of the Word and the Office of Readings.


The first reading, from James reminds us to take no oaths. To “let your “Yes” mean “Yes” and your “No” mean “No,” that you may not incur condemnation.” This is also a direct teaching of Christ, reminding us that the structure of oath taking assumes an environment otherwise permissive of deception.


The destructive nature of this structure can be experienced in meditation on the Seven of Swords. Here there is a division of reason, some stolen, some left, and one figure has bamboozaled the others





The theme authenticity is then focused in the Gospel, where Jesus strongly asserts that it is not lawful to divorce. He likens marriage not to a contract with escape clauses, but a fundamental relationship of creation. This fundamental relationship is not exclusive. Rather, it is meant to signify divine love and expand that love into all other relationships in one’s life.  But it is hard and takes skill to navigate. The tension can be seen when comparing Arcana VI: The Lovers, which is the cosmic ideal & The Two of Cups, which is our difficult but rewarding lived experience. 


 


The theme culminates in the Office of Readings where Solomon laments the vanity of the world, which deception and double dealing. His solution is reinvestment in simple living. 


“Go, eat your bread with joy and drink your wine with a glad heart; for what you do God has approved beforehand. Wear white all the time, do not stint your head of oil.


Spend your life with the woman you love, through all the fleeting days of the life that God has given you under the sun; for this is the lot assigned to you in life and in the efforts you exert under the sun.” Simple love ascribe to the order of creation from the beginning trumps all of our fabricated stratagems for finding consolation. “





The triple conjunction show the deep wisdom of creation communicated from Saturn via Mercury, the illumination of the present order in Jupiter Via the Sun, & the intimate, personal, relationship one lives and abides in. Though Capricorn demands sacrifice in this relationship, the wisdom and mindfulness of the supporting conjunctions keeps the lovers present and therefore invested in joy.
